Who we are

Ain’t It Fun Social Club is a Chicago community for Black women to foster friendships and have fun! Our programming includes activities like game nights, bowling, arts & crafts, karaoke, movie nights, fitness classes, and more!

Founded by Sarah Davis, a Chicagoland native, Ain’t It Fun was born out of the desire to create a space for Black women to connect with one another. Oftentimes, it’s hard to make new friends in adulthood, so we aim to provide environments for our community to come together an bond through good, wholesome fun!

  • Annual Galentine's Brunch

    Every February, we host a Galentine’s Brunch centering self care. This afternoon is filled with delicious food, good music, intentionality, and new friendships!

  • Game Nights

    Spades, UNO, Jenga, you name it! Our game nights are a hit and great way to connect with new people. Don’t know how to play? Don’t worry, we’ll teach ya.

  • Karaoke

    Karaoke nights bring the girls out to sing our favorite songs at the top of our lungs. Grab some drinks, fill the queue with the best sing-alongs, and foster new friendships!

  • Bowling

    Our bowling nights gather the girls for some hands-on and friendly competition. Strap on your bowling shoes and get ready to strike up some new convos.

  • Ice Skating

    Ice Skating

    What better way to spend a winter night than out on the ice skating rink? Bundle up, lace up, and step on the ice as we hang out and have fun!

How it works

We’ve reimagined the traditional social club concept by curating high-energy, public events designed specifically with our audience in mind. Through this current structure, there is no formalized membership process to participate in Ain’t It Fun Social Club, and all of our events are open to the public!

As we continue to grow we may evolve our structure, but there will always be publicly accessible, monthly events to participate in. Our guiding light is to create fun and engaging community-building opportunities for Black women – with the lowest barrier to entry possible.
